Since February 2007, the Singapore Chinese Physicians' Association 40th Council meeting resolved to have the original name of the newsletter changed from "Singapore Chinese Physicians' Association News Bulletin" to "Singapore Chinese Physicians' Association Newsletter". It was agreed that the newsletter would continue to focus on reporting on important news and updates on the four subsidiaries of the SCPA: Chung Hwa Medical Institution, `Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chung Hwa Medical Research Institute and Chung Hwa Acupuncture Research Institute, to equip new and old members of the SCPA with the latest information and bring about greater understanding and sense of belonging amongst members.
Th association's publicity publishing group, has published the 30th Newsletter (June 2010), 31st Newsletter (October 2010), 32nd Newsletter (March 2011) and 33rd Newsletter (June 2011). With the hard work from the Secretariat in charge of the publishing group, the SCPA hopes to make the newsletter into a quarterly one.
